pace

My tendency is to take on everything. Immoderate in what I want to do, I assume I can do it all (and that I want to). The internet is instant access to more stimulation than I know what to do with, at times: more and more pretty things to look at; more and more ideas; more and more things to want to do or make or get (that's the worst one for me, because it feels the most powerless).

Less: giving things up is not my strong suit. I want to do it all, go everywhere, be part of everything. But it's tiring me out. Time to change direction. Get some balance back.

That's me waving in the second-floor window, second from the right.

See you later.

Know what you mean, when you are creative there are so many things you can make and do, its hard to focus in one direction. being online only fuels more ideas! I am a little jealous of people who can channel their creativity in one thing and have the courage to stick with it and know it is right.

Good luck with your auction.

I feel that way too all the time. It is so overwhelming. I never feel I do enough. To me, you accomplish so much already it is amazing and astounding. Your work is lovely. I am looking forward to the auction tomorrow.

i am nodding my head...the internet can cause that panic feeling in my chest as i take in too much information. in fact, in my need to check my email, blog, etsy, bloglines this morning, i started having that feeling through my sleepy eyes. thank you for the reminder to find the balance.

many blessings to you...
and good luck with the auction! can't wait to check it out tomorrow...

hello you in the window!

I like your home page - are you moving to England? I shall have to delve further to find out about this book. I should have heard of it...
