I was wanting a teapot, but never found the just-right one. Jonathan found the right one and a pen that can write on porcelain. Now it is perfect, so come anytime for tea.
Ah Jane! Thank you! It was a pleasure to make it. Actually I almost didn’t draw on it because the form itself was so right. I was worried I would mess it up. But I did, and it turned out that I like this too.
I'm an American writer (two books of poems, Music For Landing Planes By, Milkweed Editions 2007 and Her book, Milkweed 2013; prose published in DIAGRAM, The Collagist, and Bluestem; poems in many journals). After doing my BAs and MFA in the city of my birth, I went to France to workâthen to England to study some more. I now live in Belgium, where I run a small press and edit a magazine. I like talking to people about writing, art, and ideas. I also like spicy food, Singlish, cushions that look like biscuits, and the word 'turpentine'. I keep this space as a personal record of what happens in my life and as a place to work out my thoughts.
